  1. I am very similar to the display on the website. My spouse died seven years ago was 15 years older than me and he was receiving social security and still working six months before he died. I was a teacher, continued working and since retired at 65. I worked for about 10 years in the social security system and taught for 25 years in one of the 15 states that hates teachers. I will be 66 this year. My husband was born in 1941. Am I subject to the WEP and the GPO? How do we know the rules, how to apply etc. I have been into social security for my medicare and the agents but in erroneous information etc. I finally got my medicare but I still do not receive anything from my late husband? Should I wait until 66?
